Probability Fundamentals
Orange Roulette uses a 6-chamber revolver with 1 bullet. Understanding the math behind each decision is crucial for optimal play.
Initial survival probability: 5/6 (83.3%)
After 1 empty: 4/5 (80%)
After 2 empty: 3/4 (75%)
After 3 empty: 2/3 (66.7%)
After 4 empty: 1/2 (50%)
After 5 empty: 0% (guaranteed hit)
When to Spin
The optimal time to spin depends on the current chamber position:
- Spin when: 3+ chambers have been fired empty (odds below 66%)
- Don't spin when: Only 1-2 chambers fired (odds still favorable)
- Consider spinning: After your opponent's lucky survival streak
Risk vs Reward Analysis
Pointing at your opponent has higher immediate risk (chain rule) but eliminates them faster. Pointing at yourself is "safer" per turn but prolongs the game. The optimal strategy varies by opponent difficulty and remaining chambers.
